SHADES OF SPRING
Purple -strong and bold, green- deep and serene. These were last year’s Irises but I’m posting this picture as a reminder that the landscape is about to burst with color. I am so excited – it’s my favorite time of year.

My intention for this blog is to share my observations and reflections in the hopes that they might give someone else a visual breath of fresh air and few moments of a mental get away.
I am so inspired by the incredible scenery of Cape Cod, that I try to capture in words what an artist does with paint. This makes my senses come alive and see, feel, hear, smell and touch things as if for the first time. Although I’ve always had an appreciation for natural beauty, this is the first time that I’ve connected to its wisdom. I’m transported into the scene and feel like I’m taken on a mini vacation that is both calming and invigorating. I hope that in reading my blog, you also come away feeling a little better.

Love that picture. The colors are so bold and gorgeous. My favorite time of year also. It’s a renewal, a rebirth with warmth and color and better days ahead.
